    New forum fixed width?

Do you think the current width of the forum is...

    Just right.
    Too wide.
    Not wide enough.

Thanks for voting. We want to establish this asap so we can begin some graphic work for the site.

    Cheers all!

Thanks GuNn3R and others for voting.

I think we're going to try the width down a notch, perhaps 800 pixels wide (which is typical) and see how that goes.

    Same here Victory.

Hmm GuNn3R that's not good, in fact that would be near impossible to deal with so thanks for hanging around. What size is your monitor and what resolution do you have it set at?

I think we should make the width match FaceBook which is used by millions of people. That should be reasonable for everyone.

I would say, it is a little too wide for my taste. Would shorten the width a little.

okay I've finally gotten around to testing a new width… from 1600 pixels down to 1300 pixels. What do you think?

For my reference, to find this setting again in case we decide to change it again (and thus I can respond to feedback immediately): Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Style Variable Editor > Global > doc_width

    great.

I'm tending to go with a new theme instead of working all the graphics… this site needs something… it's too blah.

Yes the site is a bit flat, the gray not helping… needs more contrast.

Here's some I'm looking at… any thoughts or suggestions?

    http://idealvb.themetempest.com/forum.php

We need a responsive theme, one that works for phones, computers, etc.

Speaking of background, we could either pickup a photoshop set like the following or make our own:
    http://themeforest.net/theme_preview...g-psd-template

    http://themeforest.net/item/gamezill...z_author=Ttpmc

    http://themeforest.net/item/gamesthe...review/4075141

These might be out of the scope of what we can accomplish but I still hope to get inspiration and a design direction from them, so any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks @Victory but we're looking for something that's more energenic.

    Some more theme options:
