    CPU Clock speeds, computer enhancements

I ran across this link: http://valid.x86-secret.com/ also click on forum link.

I think it's for enhancing one's clock speed on their computer. Anyone know anything about this type of stuff?

That site actually ties in with the program "CPU-Z"

    http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

The program tracks all of the info on your cpu of your computer from voltages and clock speeds, and many more things.

ye CPU-Z is an awesome tool so useful as its aot harder to go searching for all your other system specs and CPU-Z just gives them all to you

What I'm wondering if any of this stuff gives people an extra advantage when playing online...

Enhancements that are reasonable I'm not worried about but when people start getting frame rates over 700 fps, then I think that is unreasonable. What does this tool do anyway?

That tool is just a tool that shows information about your CPU, i.e. clock speed, temp, etc...

The only way that you can get an advantage getting over 700 FPS, would be when a server admin didn't put the maxfps cvar in their config files on their server. Also, you'd need to be playing at a very low frame rate with a very fast video card to be able to get that kind of fps.
