I know that I should visit more often but I simply don't have the time anymore, sorry for that.

Anyway just wanted to tell you all that today is the Austrian national day, October 26th.
It's where we celebrate that we passed a neutrality act after WWII in 1955. On October 25th 1955, every soldier from other nations had to leave Austria.

So no University today, all shops are closed and we have the "swearing in" of recruits happening today on the "Heldenplatz or Heroes square", followed and preceded by honors from our "Bundespräsident" and a show what our Military can do.

So happy 26th of October to you all.

Happy National Day... nice to remember when all of those other countries left and Australia felt truly independent. Congrats and enjoy the day, and best of luck w/ university.
