Good point Victory,

maybe Blaze can explain why we don't need it, or reconsider. How do most clans handle TS, with or without passwords?

Thanks for the offer Psyc. If only a few days earlier we might of taken you up on the offer. Still, we might want to try it out along with TeamSpeak, see which fits better.

I'm waiting for a TF2 execution mod so I can hang hackers in-game.
Until then, back to Gmod :)

I wouldn't be to worried about the teamspeak beeing hacked, Blaze and I have taken all the steps to make it as secure as possible next to that its running on our own dedicated server (same one that we tested our GBL on) which our firewall logs all port activities 24/7.

Any haxor that tries to hax in our network will be handled over to the police, its just as simple as that.

I think the worry comes from this point of view: A hacker comes on, pretends to be someone else and gets someone's password or other info they can use. maybe tells them of a fake site that has a link that downloads a virus, etc.

Could indeed GreenBean, but they can do that anyways if the password is given to anyone. And I'm sure the main idea was to get people to connect, not to make it a private closed down TS server :)

Simply don't trust strangers and only register people that you need to register, keeps out lots of idiots :P

well i don't think we have to worry, and like you said keeping it open to everyone is really the point.

it's a great idea, hope it catches on.

yeah our ts3 is down as it was never really used.

i think servers that offer it during game is probably the way it'll be unless something changes at HackHunters that makes it an important feature we must have.

I agree with you GB. Unless we are actively using the Teamspeak, Their isn't any point in having it. We can per say, always put on up temporarily if needed for a meeting or an important event.

The visit rate on the website and the difference in timezones makes it very unrelevant.
