Post Windows 7 has made many worthy 'worth trying' games obsolete.

Never mind the modding people have done, all thrown away, but the games themselves, where one might have waited for the price to drop, are no longer playable unless one has an older machine.

A couple, HomeFront or Silent Hunter 5 (video below) are no longer viable options.

That goes for games you might own and wanted to fire up again, like Quake 4, COD 4 Modern Warfare, Bad Company 2... all gone.

REMASTERED is coming out!

I have no idea what is going on, but this video was posted just this September, 2016.

Apparently Activision is updating an old favorite. Maybe to figure out why so many like that COD game and how they lost a core group of gamers with later versions, maybe?

So it appears you can only get this version if you purchase Infinite Warfare which is a $100 game, yikes. Let me know if this is wrong. Mixed reviews, server issues of just being able to get into a game.

So someone familiar with COD these days, in oder to play single player campaign, does one have to get on a server as one review I read suggested (and it kept crashing on him)?

This guy does a good job on the description of this classic.
