What you should know:

Everyone should register for the forum. Once you've done this, then you should apply here (http://www.hackhunters.com/13_apply/apply.html) for a HunterBean position to become part of the solution. If you are part of another Anti-Cheat Association, then apply as a Trusted Associate so that you can have access to other private forums.

As you probably noticed, we have a real website. Our website is where people will be able to find information quickly and put forth our message. The other 'half' is our forum where information will be gathered. If the information is useful, it will go on our website.

We intend on making quite a few tutorials covering everything from making an animated gifs to how to use different Anti-Cheat Asociations services. Help us make this a reality and join.

Well, we think that some of what we do has a humorous side and hope you think so too. We've started Tina's Madness (http://www.youtube.com/user/HackHunters) and have 4 more episode's sketched up and ready for development. We will be using our YouTube.com account http://www.youtube.com/hackhunters to make sure our videos will be sitting in the middle of videos teaching people how to hack, to help them think before they are tempted in making the wrong decision....

Llike, what's some of our ideas? Check out this forum HERE (http://www.hackhunters.com/forum/index.php?board=4.0) for upcoming episodes. Jump in a make a suggestion!

Each episode of Tina's Madness has some reocurring themes... 1) Tina's a bit uptight, 2) they keep loosing 'in the field' reporters, 3) guest kinda hit on Tina but always fail, 4) the producer has his hands full, 4) what is supposed to be a controlled interview always seems to get out of hand, 5) Tina sometimes seems bewildered by 'the pretty lights', 6) no one messes with Tina when she gives them her 'look', and so on.

If you want to make an episode for HackHunters, we ask that you name it __________ Madness, reserving the name Tina for episodes made by HackHunters.

An easy way to get one's message across is visually, this is why you will see a variety of animated gifs on our site. They are simple and to the point, or maybe they're just for fun. Have an idea? We'll have a section in the forum where you can post it. If it's good we'll use it.

You never know where the next big idea will come from. Our website/forum is designed so that the ordinary gamer can walk in and make a different with their thoughts, ideas or opinions. Just speak up in our Brainstorming forum where everyone can kick around a new idea with the goal of making it real.

This special link to Report A Suspect (http://www.hackhunters.com/05_reportasuspect/report.html) allows anyone to make a report of someone they think is cheating without revealing their name or the suspects name to the public. The information will then be posted in a Private forum so that our HunterBeans can investigate with the result of either clearing the name or getting a ban put in place.

For now, we will not be making bans, but if the evidence is overwhelming that someone is cheating, we will compile a list along with the proof and allow individual clans to decide.

The Clan Info (http://www.hackhunters.com/07_claninfo/claninfo.html) and Player Info (http://www.hackhunters.com/08_playerinfo/playerinfo.html) sections are where both the clan administrator and gamer can pick up some really useful and quick information which will help them game in a fun and fair environment. We hope to add significantly to these two section on our website and could use your help. One goal is to simply provide players with the correct XFire settings and offer them other browsers that show only protected servers.

We have started our Links page with a lot of other Anti-Cheat Associations, but our real challenge will be to offer straight forward step-be-step instructions on how to best use these services so that the beginner will know exactly what to do to make their new server cheat protected.

We have started a section to help with computer technology questions. Every gamer knows that if their computer isn't humming smoothly, their game will suffer. We will help you optimize your computer.

We have started a section devoted to what's new and on the horizon in terms of new games, the technology behind the games and other great links to explore including hot previews.

This stands for Black-Out Curtain Operations and is basically closed to the public. It involves programming with a few people, privately funded, they are in beta-testing on a couple of projects which will eventually yield data that HackHunters will be able to use.

Remember, we're just getting started, so don't expect too much actual help as we get everything into position. In fact, this is the time... 'we're the ones who need help' :o

Finally, I will continue to add to this list as things grow.... stay tuned.

Don't forget to apply for full forum access as a HunterBean or Trusted Associate to help this grow into an international effort.

regards all,

Why should you register?

Well, you thought the clan you were a part of was an honest cheat-free clan, because, you missed our alert and detailed outline of the corruption that was at the core of the clan you belong to. And you thought all the main clan members where just really really good players, it all seemed so exciting.... reality check!

HackHunters Forum Rules

Please respect the following rules when you post on this forum. Breaking any of these rules may result in a warning, infraction or post restriction (PR) for a set period of time or in extreme cases can result in a permanent ban.

1) No Flaming/Flame-baiting/bigotry
Abusive, racist, sexist, homophobic comments (or any other type of bigotry), personal attacks and name calling are not allowed either on the forum or through PM's. If you receive a PM that is abusive or you find offensive please forward it to a moderator who will investigate.
Flame-baiting is also not tolerated; flame-baiting is making a post to someone that is obviously intended to elicit an angry response. Mocking/teasing/ridiculing someone or the point someone wants to make is also flamebaiting. This also applies to other areas of the forums such as leaving visitor messages on people's profiles, messages posted in social groups, as well as quoting someone against their wishes in your signature to belittle/tease/mock them. If someone asks you to remove something they posted on the forum from your signature you must remove it.

2) Follow the instructions of the moderators
When a moderator or HH staff member asks you to do something or to stop doing something, please follow their instructions.

3) Discussions about game copy protection, copying, backing-up, hacking, cracking or reverse engineering of any game or other products or the products of any other developer will not be tolerated and such discussions will be deleted immediately.
Any breach of this rule may result in the poster no longer having access to the forum.

4) Advertising commercial products
Do not advertise any commercial products other than those which are consistant with topics on the forums without prior moderator approval.

5) No Spam
We deem spam as making a thread or posting a reply that has no real worth, is irrelevant, useless and offers nothing to a discussion.

6) No posting of explicit images and/or videos
No posting of pictures containing porn, real killing, mutilations, wounds, carnage, and other disgusting/explicit images. This also includes links to pages that contain such images.

7) Search before posting
If you have a question, please use the forum search function before posting to make sure that it hasn't been answered before.

8 ) Post in the right forum
Please make an effort to post new threads in the correct forum, if you're unsure of which forum to post in feel free to ask a moderator.

9) Do not cross-post
Do not post duplicate threads in more than one forum simply to get an answer quicker or to draw more attention to your post.

10) not used

11) No duplicate accounts
Having several accounts is strictly forbidden. If you want to get a new account contact a moderator. If you wish to change your name for any reason we will be happy to do that, if you discover you inadvertently ended up with two accounts we can merge them for you, better to inform a moderator than risk being banned as a "dupe".

12) Do not type in all capital letters, all bold
Typing in all caps equates (according to standard net etiquette) to yelling. It is also difficult and obnoxious to read such posts. Exceptions for organization of long lists and categories.

13) Write in English
Please write only in English on the public forums. Use our Language Board if you need to ask a question in your native language and someone will help you translate it.

14) Remove image tags when quoting a post containing an image
If you quote a post that contains an image please remove the image tag or the whole image, it helps keep the thread tidy and easier to read if the same image isn't being posted repeatedly, you need only delete one [ to stop the image from hotlinking.

15) Do not hotlink images over 800kb in size
Do not link images over 100kb using the IMG tags to display an image in your post. If you wish to post an image larger then 100 kb feel free to post the URL instead of hotlinking.

16) Keep avatars and signatures within forum regulations

17) Report rule violations
If you see a violation of these rules on the forum, do not reply in the thread but send a PM to a moderator or use the "Report Post" button instead. Replying in the thread will be considered as spam.

18) No public discussion on how the forum is moderated
If you have questions/complaints/comments about the forum or moderators please PM them to a moderator, we will do our utmost to reply to any that we receive.

19) Respect people content, no use without permission
The first and most fundamental rule is that you must seek permission to alter someone's work, to mirror it or use it in any way other than for personal use. No permission, no editing, no mirroring, no adding to your mod pack, no editing and sharing around your private squad, none of that is acceptable.
