The Cheat Police is a great resource for Administrators who need help in keeping their servers clean of cheaters. We encourage every Admin to get their server registered with TCP and get a TCP Badge for their website and clan. The HackHunters Team.

From Mapmstr, the current Chief of Police.

BADGES: The Cheat Police has a program where Server Administrators can apply for a Trusted-Server-Admin Badge. This badge symbolizes not only that they have taken a stand against cheating, it also means that they do not allow cheating in their servers, as well as their clan. All applicants are inspected thoroughly to ensure their integrity within the community. If they pass the two week investigation, they are issued a badge that they post on their website, showing that we have certified them as a non-cheating clan.

ADMIN HELP: We are also here as advisors who can assist administrators in getting their servers up and running, help get them streaming to pubs, help them protect their server from being hacked, and to inform them on the different cheats there are out there, how to identify them, and how to gather evidence that can be used against the offender later.

We provide assistance in helping server admins setup streaming with PBBans, Punksbusted, and AON.

SOFTWARE: As we are more based on assisting and educating the gaming community, than we are patroling, programming software, or providing a place to stream, we currently don't provide software created specifically by The Cheat Police.

PATROLLING: We don't patrol, and don't condone patrolling by any of our staff. Other organizations have attempted to patrol before, and it was quite the disaster. We investigate more than we do patrol. Think of The Cheat Police as your local police department, but in gaming. We have a team, think of them as detectives, that investigate all applicants. That is our main goal in investigation. We welcome demos, screenshots, and are always willing to examine any evidence there might be regarding cheating or hacking, and are always willing to provide opinions on the material based on experience and expertise.

Important note to new Server Administrators:

If you are new to creating a game server, you should go to The Cheat Police (TCP) to get help setting up your server and get it streaming AntiCheat Software. They will help you with PBBans, AON and other options, showing you exactly what to do. TCP is the first step every Admin should take.

we are working on and thinking on doing tournaments clan, guild agains clan, guild and CP are ref. there be prizes and stuff like I said its in the making

going for more affiliates since there are more differents games coming out

were tweeking out our staff and looking for new staff

working on making a master band list for all games (for the admins)

were starting to make a news letter to sent out to TSA memers by emails (still in works)

and were open for new idears as we move on from any one

Sounds like a great plan for growth Outlaw. If there is anything that HackHunters can do to help, let us know.

The Tournaments sounds like fun, especially if it comes from the CP.

There are lots of games on the market these days and more coming like you said. It is very challenging to keep up with everything.

Be sure to check out our HunterBean SOUP for other ideas and some works in progress. I think collaboration might be a great way to get good anticheat software distributed and in use.

I've always found Newsletters to be a lot of work. When finished they're great tho as they document a moment in time. I'd make a good template and then just concentrate in filling it with info. I think what helps the most is having the right people for the job.

best of luck with everything.

if you get it back up on the site we can get it back for ya

this is a quote from the welcome letter

You have two weeks to have the image displayed on your site. If the image is not there within this time your application will be rejected. Furthermore, once you are approved should the image be removed your access to the TSA section of The Cheat Police web site will be removed as well.

Over the last month or so, The Cheat Police has underwent some changes. FIRST Major change was change of command. I am now Chief Of Police. Sgt.D has decided to take a backseat for a while. If all goes well, I will have full ownership of all domains and the website and all members come June.

Next MAJOR change. http://www.thecheatpolice.com and .net have been moved over to a server owned by me. Things are running so much better. Check it out. The site was upgraded to Evolution-Xtreme v2.0 and is proving to be a better choice.

I will also be announcing a NEW Deputy Chief Of Police soon.

Things are starting to look up for TCP, and I hope everyone here can become a part of such an awesome endeavour.

We are currently experiencing an error on the server that is causing http://www.thecheatpolice.com to redirect to http://www.thecheatpolice.com/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

I am currently working with my server team to resolve this issue.

In the meantime, you should use http://www.thecheatpolice.com/index.php to access the site.

Thank You and sorry for the inconvenience.

Ladies and Gentlemen of The Cheat Police

I am seeking input from the community. I am considering making some site changes. What I am looking to do is try to make The Cheat Police more of a Social Network. Kind of like MySpace, or FaceBook. I currently have 2 sites running in this type of format. The live sites can be viewed at http://www.vetsols.us and http://www.milplace.org

Over the next few days, http://www.thecheatpolice.net will be separated from the main site to begin building the same type of community. I am going to have many of the same things setup there, however, I will NOT be able to port the Forums or user database over to the new system, meaning, TCP will be starting FRESH.

In time, I am going to integrate vBulletin into it for the forums, and WordPress for blogs. There will also be a FlashChat integration

There are literally hundreds of different mods and modules available of already included with that system. I am basically trying to keep TCP alive, and now a days, it seems that the social network thing is the way to go. I will post a reply to this when the test site is online.
