AntiCheatInc (ACI) is a PunkBuster Administrator Support Community. ACI can provide the Admin with Player Background (BG) checks. they'll accept your PBSS (PunkBuster Screen Shots) and offers support to their members (simple registration) in providing the best management and security solutions for your server including cheat protection, and technical advice. ACI is active in AntiCheat Research, has an established PBSS Trolling Community and their own ACI MBL (Master Ban List).

The ACI MBL is determined by PBSS or Cvar Violations (data collected from streamed logs) only.

America's Army;
Call of Duty 4;
Battlefield 2142

STREAMING YOUR LOGS TO ACI: Adding a streaming feature to your server for AA and COD4 is extremely easy (4 simple console commands). Streaming will forward your logs to ACI's master repository. Once your logs are received for the first time, your server will be added to the streaming list and can also be checked from the main forum index dashboard. Logs are available upon request. Streaming allows your PB logs only to be sent to our repository making it possible for cheat violations to be automatically added to the banlist. Read this ACI thread: http://www.anticheatinc.net/forums/announcement.php?f=198&a=5

ACI's MBL: (Master Ban List) Searching ACI's MBL is easy as you can input a players name or their GUID. You can do a search now just to see how it works: http://www.snoop.anticheatinc.com/MSL/banlist.php

BACKGROUND CHECKS for Americas Army:
You can easily request a BG Check (BackGround) of a player to see if they're on a Ban list at this link:
http://www.anticheatinc.net/forums/newthread.php?do=aabgform. You do not have to input each and every field, just fill in as much data as you can to start the process.

You can find a great tutorial about doing BG Checks in this ACI thread: http://www.anticheatinc.net/forums/showthread.php?t=24576

After registering your name and/or tag with EvenBalance, go to ACI to have your tag for AA (COD4, under construction) added to their list.

ACI provides a means for individuals to contest their ban. You can find more information about this process in their forum.

Here's a a slightly older article on ACI (May 2006) which gives insight into the early development of ACI and what they do.

I think it's worth the read, found on COUNTERHACK (http://www.counter-hack.net/) website articles:

Here is a few very basic questions HackHunters asked ACI; the answers are from AntiCheat Inc by Snoop-ACI-: Thanks Snoop!

1a) Q: ACI MBL: Does your MBL contain other MBL's or is it unique to only information gathered by ACI?
A: The ACI MBL is unique to ACI, but often an admin may run more than one MBL.

1b) ACI MBL: In other words, should I be looking at other MBL's to be fully protected and if so, what would you recommend?
That I know of yet, there is no combined banlist of all the AC's, your best bet is to run all the banlists from all the ACs to better protect yourself (I am currently working on a combined banlist script for public use).

1c) Is the ACI MBL a universal ban list which gathers bans from others (if so what other sources)?
Bans originate from bannable violations that are streamed to us by ACI streaming servers, or are submitted to our PBSS section.

1d) I noticed that PBBans forwards their log data to ACI, does that mean if I use the PBBans Hub I'm covered for ACI MBL too (do you stream your log data and MBL to them)?
I'm not to sure if CoD4 logs are able to be forwarded from PBBans, but I do know the AA game is. In your Hub you can select the destinations you wish for your logs to go, to get your AA logs to us through PBBans Hub, you select the ACI button. This way we receive logs that we parse for bannable violations. However we do not have a system like PBBans that gives our members the option to forward the logs to PBBans.

2) BG CHECK: you have a tutorial listed here http://www.anticheatinc.net/forums/s...ad.php?t=24576 but it seems available for only Americas Army, what about COD4 and Battlefield 2142? Does your BG check work for them too?
Right now there is no solid BG checking tool for CoD4 (defiantly not BF2142 yet). We do have a small BG tool for CoD4 only using ACI logs located here --> http://snoop.anticheatinc.com/cod4 . which is still heavily in development .

3a) The ACI MBL seems to be determined by only 2 methods, either PBSS's or Cvar Violations data that is streamed to ACI. Is this correct and if not what other methods are available to universally ban someone?
We also ban for known MD5 violations and other things like FILE WHITELIST. PunkBuster also gives out other violations like WALLHACK, AIMBOT, GAMEHACK...and some GAMEHOOKs which are mostly bannable. So there are alot more violations than just Cvars that are bannable.

3b) PBSS's: Do I, as a Server Administrator have to submit SS's manually, i.e., upload them to ACI or is there another method for you to see PBSS's from my server?
If you are not streaming, you have to have a public viewable image that is still hosted on your game server that we can view from the web to verify it, the host provider must also be an approved host (meaning we know that they have a locked down PBSS folder so you can not tamper with the screenshots). If those things are not met we have to watchlist the player, the evidence has to be proven legitimate before we can add the player to the MBL. But if you are streaming, all you have to do is upload the image to ACI and submit it and we can match up the MD5 of your submitted image and the MD5 of the image in the logs to make sure it is a valid image.

4) Does ACI help Server Administrators set up the correct commands for streaming by providing instructions?
Yes, most staff here know how to set up the files to get you running. If they don't know for sure they will point you in the right direction. The best way to see results fast is to make a new thread requesting help and youll have a response in minutes.

5) How do I make an official PBSS? (run PunkBuster which is available at EvenBalance.com.... from there....?)
When you install the ACI scripts there is an option in the files if you would like to enable auto screenshots, you can also do this while in game through the punkbuster comands which you can find on EvenBalance's website.

Banbuster supports the following banlists: ACI, AON, PSB, AASA, CB and PBB for updating(PBB banlines cant be downloaded with this tool, only the GUIDs). Of cource you can also use your private bans in the bandatabase too. Hence why there is an option to change the bandatabase name. Keep in mind, every time you update this database with banbuster the entire file will be
deleted so keep your private bans somewhere in a backup.

Search GUID's, IP's, and names for bans.
Parse guids from banlines straight to the searchlist.
Parse partial GUIDS from pb_power list logdata.
Parse GUIDS from ACI BGtool to the searchlist.
Reformat and colourise ACI login compare data.
Reformat & colourise login compare data and bansearch Combo
Fully customisable configuration IE. colors, results.

Go to ACI forum for more details.

Q: What does this mean for our members?
A: This means that you will have access to our community, our staff, and our Public resources.

Q: What about Private Members and Server Owners?
A: If you are already a Private Member or Server Owner here at ACI, you will have access to our Private scripts for your servers as well as Private forum access for those special questions and concerns.

Q: What does Streaming do for me [our clan]?
A: Steaming to ACI allows us to gather PunkBuster related data on players like kicks and violations so that cheaters can be banned and added to our banlist. It also adds data to our repository so that we have the necessary information to do our famous Background Checks. Finally, it allows us to validate PunkBuster screenshots so that we can ban those that are using visually detectable cheats.

Q: What can all of you do for ACI?
A: Spread the word to your friends, allies, rivals, and gaming sites you visit that ACI will be supporting Battlefield 3! This of course does not mean you should spam or violate other forum rules but use discretion and tell our praises! You can also use the image below to post and share with other gamers.
