PunkBuster is a tool which checks your system while playing online on PB enabled games and returns data to EvenBalance. This is the way it is and you accept this when you play online. At the same time you should know that it is wise to close all other applications before launching an online game. This is for a couple of reasons, one, your processor can concentrate on your game and two, you don't want PB to scan any sensitive material you might have open and running in a different program, like passwords or whatnot.

While PB's intent is not to screen shot your desktop, it may be possible.

GUIDELINES FOR GAMERS and YOUR IDENTITY

Those of you who might be gaming and are under 16 or so, should keep a few things in mind...

PROTECT YOURSELF:
Everyone wants to make friends, this is a fact, but real friends are those you can actually 'see' with your own eyes. Over time you might be able to make acquaintances online, but these are not true friends... your friends are those you know in your own neighborhood, from your school or community.

RULES:

NEVER post your EMAIL ADDRESS publically, like in your profile.
NEVER post your AGE anywhere, including as part of your name, like sally93 or sally2011 or sally12.
NEVER post your REAL NAME anywhere even if it asks for your real name.
NEVER say what CITY you live in.

These rules apply to everyone, everywhere, including XFire or other sites. Check all profiles you have.

Remember, you don't know who you are talking to online... there is no way to know. Even if someone's name sounds young, or their profile says they're 13, they might be lying. Us older folk follow these rules out of habit and experience, it's a part of what everyone needs to do to protect themselves.

Follow these simple rules, then, put it behind you and go have fun!

I had forgotten to add smth to this.... some games adjust your settings... like they add binds for promoting their server... I dunno if this can be done (or is being done) in COD4, but in mohaa it is.

How you can solve this:

Tick off the Read-Only box in your unnamedsoldier.cfg .
