View Full Version : Some help from HH?

07-18-2011, 01:47 PM

Well I finally put a domain on my blog/review website. www.gamers-association.com (http://www.gamers-association.com). I am currently starting out small and independent but for future references. I plan to expand more and more. But for now. Just a simple and personal game review site.

Let me know how I am doing, and feel free to provide feed back or comments on the site.

Any helpful ideas to get the word out, improve the website, my reviews, getting free games to reviews, etc. I greatly appreciate it.

great job and congratulations getting it up and running.

So I'm going right to it to give you the low down that will hopefully help:

Always do spell check and always double check punctuation, like period placements, commas, etc. so that what you type makes complete sense.

when retweeting a post this is what i get:
Gamers Association - Home http://t.co/LCoJDGY

but your url is Gamers-Association with a hyphen.

this is what I would like to see but don't know if it's possible:
Gamers-Association.com - Call of Duty BO content pack Annihilation, what's inside: http://t.co/LCoJDGY
(or at least the correct title of the article).

are you graphically able? a gamerz type banner would go a long way.

that's it for now, i think it's fantastic... you should, like i do, post a snipit of an article on HH and then write 'read more here... ' with a link. You're welcome to do so.

I ran into that problem to. I could only find one work around. You actually have to click the article title and then tweet it and it shows the correct tweet.

Thanks for the advice. I corrected the title of it. hopefully that helps improve! I am going to try and figure it out the tweet problem asap.

I don't see any tags for your articles. Without them no one will find your blog or articles if doing a search on google, yahoo, etc. but then again even on the weebly blog I don't see any tags.
