AA3 America's Army 3 - Tutorial 4 - EXPERT - Medical Training! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNVBzVC7tYE#)

First off their are two types of wound treatments. The first is regular wound healing, which can be done on any wounded soldier that was not incapacitated. It's a simple process. All you have to do is walk up to your wounded teammate, click and hold the space bar. Thus, you will be performing the bandaging treatments to stop further bleeding.

The second is a more complicated type of wound treatment. This is the wound treatment that is performed on your incapacitated teammate. When you walk up to your incapacitated teammate and press your space bar to treat the wounds, you will get prompt that will give you assessment data. You will need to base the option you select on the assessment data, as each symptom is for a different problem, which requires different treatment.

Each symptom will have one cause. However, if you do not apply the correct wound treatment, you will not be able to revive your teammate. But you will be able to treat their injuries, which stops their bleeding and keeps them from dying, but your chance to revive them will be lost. It's a one-shot deal per soldier (however another team mate can come and attempt to revive the incapacitated teammate).

There are four symptoms that can incapacitate the Soldier, as well as four treatments which can revive the player. Those symptoms and related treatments are:

Wound/Condition = Treatment

Pale Skin = Smelling Salts
Labored Movement = Splint
Shallow Breathing = Oropharyngeal Airway (OPA)
Weak Pulse = Saline IV

Once the initial treatment is completed, you may then perform the bandaging treatments to stop further bleeding of your teammate.

Here is an image of the different icons when dealing as a medic.

Green Dot = Healthy
White Dot w/ Red Tear = Wounded
Red Dot w/ White Tear - Incapacitated

After reading this, everyone should know how to revive your fallen teammates. If not, you need to go back to basic training. Reviving or treating a wounded teammate is not required, but it is recommended. You will never know, he might just return the favor.
