There's the iPad now and while a bit of an investment there are a couple of things that look pretty cool about it.

http://www.apple.com/ipad/

Using an account w/ NetFlix for just $9/month it seems you can instantly view thousands of movies (unlimited per month) as listed here: http://www.netflix.com/AllGenresList

With a connector to the TV you can watch them via iPad or your computer too.

NetFlix Unlimited Plans

$8.99 a month
1 DVD out at-a-time
(Exchange each DVD as often as you want)
plus
Instantly watch online on your PC or Mac or right on your TV via an Internet connected Netflix ready device. Instantly watch as often as you want, anytime you want

What's kind of funny is that it seems like an over-grown version of the iPhone, kind of like boom boxes were to walkmans :)

Still, for delivery of content, being able to view something, read something, etc. while on the go this is pretty cool. But you'd have to say why that and not a notebook where you can actually create something as well?

Perfect for the 'cafe shop on the go' person, but you'll need to prop up your legs on another chair to do any typing I suspect or hunch over using it on your lap.

What do you think, will this new kid on the market hang or flounder like the Newton?

and, for some reason whenever i hear the name iPad and iPod, I picture two women standing around arguing as to which works best every month :o Of course, for the woman on the go the Apple Nano will always be the best choice.

Apple Computer announced today that it has developed a computer chip that can store and play high fidelity music in women’s breast implants.

The iTit will cost $499 or $599 depending on speaker size.

This is considered to be a major breakthrough because women have always complained about men staring at their breasts and not listening to them.
