BROWSERS:
Description:
All these browser are good. Some are a little bit better than others. I would suggest downloading some that you haven't tried before and giving them a spin. I think you'll be surprised and they're all FREE!

SAFARI:

Description:
I just installed Safari for my PC and I'm glad i did... it's a dream to use compared to IE and everything on websites looks the way it's supposed to, including the Safari interface which doesn't have that dos appearance. Scrolling is a breeze and actually works when you mouse over any area. When you type a URL it comes up automatically, you don't have to scroll down to it... for instance, when I type 'h' after www. hackhunters.com comes up and i click enter, done, no scrolling.
Size 60 MB's. Also, I've always like the bookmarks ability to categorize easily with Safari including the ease of adding special bookmarks to the top bar. I did have to download the following in order for HackHunters YouTube video to show up properly: FLASH PLAYER and the SHOCKWAVE PLAYER.

Safari (PC & MAC, free): http://www.apple.com/safari/
Browsers compared on HackHunters Website:

HackHunters looks best in Safari with no known issues.
I personally think safari is the best browser available not only for its features, ease of bookmarks, auto-fill, but because of the way pages look.

FIREFOX:

Description:
Firefox has security, speed and new features that will change the way you use the Web. Don’t settle for anything less.

FireFox (PC & MAC, free): http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
Browsers compared on HackHunters Website:

Weird scroll wheel issue w/ animations that lag compared to rest of page.
Page items don't always align. No autofill for bookmarks.

OPERA:

Description:
Opera is Internet browser innovation. Our features, speed and security will give you the best browser experience available. More than 20 million people use Opera as their preferred browser of choice. Feel free to download and judge for yourself.

Opera: (PC & MAC, free) http://www.opera.com/
Browsers compared on HackHunters Website:

Opera was really easy to download (fast) and imported my bookmarks from Safari automatically.
Pages look great in Opera and I haven't so far had to download any 3rd party programs... everything seems to work automatically
I don't like how it handles bookmarks, kind of like IE in that you have to type, then arrow down to the bookmark you want unlike Safari where addresses are automatically filled in once you start typing. Also, you have to go to the File Menu to access bookmarks.

INTERNET EXPLORER:

Description:
Internet Explorer 7 provides improved navigation through tabbed browsing, web search right from the toolbar, advanced printing, easy discovery, reading and subscription to RSS feeds, and much more.

Internet Explorer (PC only, free): http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/ie/default.mspx
Browsers compared on HackHunters Website:

Overall good, but not thrilled with how to access bookmarks, using arrow keys or accessing ones bookmark list.
Adds 'extra' things to a page which throws off some page layouts.

GOOGLE CHROME:

Description:
Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier.

Maps and Aerial Photos

Description
Mapquest is a great tool for finding out how to get from one place to another, or just to look up an address to see the streets around it. It needs a subway feature though for those of us who live in big cities, so we know where the subway stops are in relationship to our destination.

Google Chrome

this is what i found

since google chrome browser is new one(and out of beta, with no official version for linux and mac) they dont have any plugins, themes or addons yet but they are planning on create ones by may 2009

here are the official forums for chrome issues lol
http://www.chromeplugins.org
http://www.googlechromeplugins.com/
u can check them if u want as they have useful tips and stuff

plus these 2 sites are the only plugins i found for chrome (but as i noticed (maybe i am wrong) they are generally addons and plugins for general browsers and not only for chrome

http://google-chrome.com/chrome-plugins
http://www.mychromeaddons.com

i hope i helped a lil...but as far as i read chrome is intresting browser and very user'friendly
