HISTORY:

The Brooklyn Youth Association was founded by Brooklyn's own Fredrick Fulford who wished to give kids an opportunity to have fun and stay on the positive side of life.

MISSION:

To give youths an alternative to mischievous behavior by getting them off the streets and into a positive environment.

TEAMS:

The BYA has 6 teams divided into the following age groups: 6 to 7, 8 to 9, and 10 to 13, depending on the skill level of the child.

WHO CAN JOIN:

Any girl or boy between the ages of 6 and 13. Go to the Sign Up Page HERE. We accept late applications.

VOLUNTEER COACHING PROGRAM:

Every year adults join up as assistant volunteer coaches to help our children learn the wonderfully American pass time of BaseBall. Contact one of the lead coaches to sign up. Applications can be found on the Sign Up Page HERE.

AWARDS:

At the end of every season, all children will be presented with a standard 'smaller' trophy that they'll be proud of owning for years to come, as well as the possibility of winning one or more special trophies for noteworthy achievements.
